About Camilla Cok, Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc.:

Camilla Cok, AIA, is an associate principal in Hennebery Eddy Architects’ Bend studio, with 17 years of experience designing award-winning public facilities throughout the Northwest. Currently, she is the design manager for the City of Bend’s new Public Works Campus project. Camilla takes great pride in helping clients achieve their vision for a project using her eye to see how the details fit into the big picture. A leader in sustainable design, Camilla helps clients achieve high-performing and elegant design solutions. Camilla is an alumna of the 2024 Leadership Bend class and previously served as the vice chair of the City of Gresham Design Commission, helping Oregon cities plan and design healthy, thriving communities. She has presented nationally on topics related to fire station design and progressive design-build best practices.

Sandy Cummings

About Sandy Cummings, Art in Public Places:

Sandy is an independent documentary filmmaker, following a career in broadcast
journalism. She earned numerous awards for her work over two decades, including
three Emmys and an Edward R. Murrow Award.
While she has told stories of brilliant brain surgeons, celebrities, and newsmakers -- and
covered more tragedies than she can count -- what she loves most is the stories of
“ordinary” people overcoming extraordinary challenges. Sandy’s most recent
independent film, SPACE, HOPE and CHARITY, follows the journey of Charity
Woodrum through poverty and tragedy as she pursues her dream of becoming a NASA
astrophysicist. Sandy also followed a family from eastern Oregon for six years as they
enduring heart transplants in three of their young children (for specials on NBC and
MSNBC).

Sandy has lived and worked in Los Angeles and New York, and now lives in Bend with
her incredibly supportive husband Bruce and their rescue dog Alvin.
She currently serves on the boards of Art in Public Places and KIDS Center.

About Corey Martin:

Corey has received wide acclaim for creating modern buildings that display sensitivity to the natural environment, daylight, spatial dynamism, and craftsmanship. An Oregon native with a deep personal connection to the diverse landscapes of the Pacific northwest, Corey has designed and developed award-winning buildings, operated his own furniture design and fabrication studio, worked as an artist and sculptor, and started two award-winning design and architecture firms.

Jo Wells, City of Bend:

Jo Wells in the architectural field for over 20 years, initially with a focus on community and low-income housing projects and in the public sector since 2011. Her first foray into being on the owner side of development was in co-developing a private co-housing community. For that past 9 years she has had a focus on Progressive-Design-Build delivery including the award-winning Portland Building and is now leading the Public Works Campus project for the City of Bend. Her background in communication and community building has led to a unique approach to leading PDB projects built on a strong foundation of trust and teaming. She is a 2022 Leadership Bend Alumni and is on the steering committees for both the Leadership Bend Alumni Association (LBAA) and the Oregon Chapter of DBIA. She has been a speaker at multiple conferences including both the national DBIA and AIA conferences.
