Ian Schmidt
Architect
Ian thrives on exploration, innovation, and helping others. His past is charged with thrilling adventures – grew up in Peru, went to architecture school in Kansas, lived and worked in Seattle, and is now thriving in Bend. As a design professional at Pinnacle, he focuses on affordable housing, rural health care clinics, and public projects. With a real passion for helping others, Ian believes the work he does at Pinnacle must contribute to creating better lives for those that live in or visit his projects. He holds a Master of Construction Management from the University of Washington in Seattle and a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University. Active in the community, Ian is a member of the Bend Collaborative Housing Workgroup organized by Bend 2030 helping write policy for the inclusion of middle market housing in Bend.
