Through an exploration of composition, pattern, and visual chaos, David Wachs distills these encounters into refined abstract compositions that capture the essence of place and perception.

David Wachs is a Bend, Oregon-based artist whose work captures the natural beauty and dynamic spirit of the Pacific Northwest. ABOUT THE ANNEX:
The Annex at Scalehouse is a program located in the lobby of the Franklin Crossing Building, a public gathering space in downtown Bend. This highly visible, community-centered environment is dedicated to showcasing 2D work by emerging artists.
Selected artists present work that contributes to Scalehouse’s mission of building community through arts and culture. The Annex provides an opportunity for emerging artists to gain experience and exposure while engaging a broad public audience in a shared space.
